Choose WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE COGETICS WITH LEARN - TO - LEARN
For example, you now know that when discussing new subject matter in the classroom, two basic approaches to education are available. The first approach uses sequential thought as its cognitive base. Analytic and critical connections within and among new topics are not made. Rote learning is induced. This entrenched approach greatly minimizes teacher effectiveness and student achievement because it inherently defeats the curriculum-wide development of reasoning, writing, and reading abilities. This is how teachers are trained. This is how students are taught. This is why students at all levels do not develop learn-to-learn abilities. This is why raised state standards remain a challenge unmet. By addressing aggressively this issue, all schools including charter and other alternative schools can indeed greatly improve teacher effectiveness and student achievement. The second approach uses language-rich Cogetics (Kohg-etics) as its cognitive foundation. Cogetics integrates the critical structure of language, innate analytic abilities, and subject matter. New subject matter topics are analyzed not merely memorized. As a result, the basis for critical teaching and learning is provided. Lifelong learn-to-learn abilities are developed in all learners - teachers and students. Cogetics addresses directly - for all learners and all subjects - the strong emphasis the raised state standards place on analytic / critical thinking, reading, and writing. -Journal of Reading Which One Should Your School ore College Stress? |
